In the months since its release, Elden Ring has emerged as one of the most popular titles in recent years. Its vast open world and beloved combat mechanics have led players to devote hours to defeating in-game foes. But The Lands Between are almost too big to fathom, and not everything within the world is perfect. This has been made clear by one Elden Ring player who recently found a bug involving Miquella emerging early from his cocoon.
Elden Ring's Miquella is a god-like figure bewitched to remain eternally young. He, however, longs to grow to adulthood, and so he builds a magical cocoon in which he will be able to grow. He is supposed to stay within this structure throughout the game, though the newly-discovered glitch makes it seem as though he would rather break free.
Elden Ring Player Makes An Impressive Ancestor Spirit Art
Reddit user LoneWolf4247 recently posted a photo to the Elden Ring subreddit that shows Miquella awkwardly standing in the middle of his cocoon, his arms jutting to the sides and his bones hideously visible. Miquella normally rests in one of the late-game areas, known as Miquella's Haligtree in Elden Ring, though he was kidnapped by Mohg, the Lord of Blood. The character is not heavily discussed in-game. Players only know where he slumbers and a bit about his sister, Melenia, who was also cursed with youth. Fans can also learn about the supposed relationship between Miquella and the Lord of Blood, which is of little consequence to the main story of the title.
Many fans were quick to comment on LoneWolf4247's post, jesting about Miquella's unfortunate condition. Other players have mentioned that Miquella might be an interesting, and difficult, boss for gamers to fight in a possible future DLC
