UK retailer Smyths Toys will reportedly be selling PlayStation 5 consoles in stores and online this Thursday.
Its February 17 restock will only include PS5 disc edition consoles, which are priced at £449.99, according to PS5 Stock UK.
It claims customers will be able to pre-order the console online from around 9am GMT.
For the best chance of success, it’s recommended that users are logged into a Smyths account and that they don’t refresh the website frequently in order to avoid a ban from the retailer’s anti-bot security system.
PS5 Stock UK offers various notification services which will let you know as soon as the console is available to order.
Those wanting to pre-order a console physically will be able to do so as soon as their local store opens and are advised to arrive before this time as queues are expected.
As has been the case previously, customers will need to put down a £20 deposit to secure the console.
Sony is taking registrations for the chance to buy PS5 consoles directly from the company.
Registration is currently open for players based in the US, UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Sony rolled out new PS5 and PS4 system software beta updates last week, introducing changes to how parties work. PS5 beta participants in the US and UK can also test new ‘Hey, PlayStation!’ voice command features for finding and launching games and apps, as well as controlling media playback.
