There are a great many ways to have fun in Skyrim’s expansive open world; from nude racing up the 7,000 steps to High Hrothgar, to running through a kill-everyone playthrough. As a game surpassing 10-years-old, players must increasingly find new methods of entertainment in Skyrim, whether that be through fan-made mods or by creating their own interesting challenges.
One of the many hindrances to completing these challenges are the NPCs who populate Skyrim’s towns and cities. On their predetermined paths, their regular interruptions, unprompted comments, and messy path-finding can make for plenty of humorous interactions with players, as we see in a hilarious cabbage tossing clip on Reddit.

Uploaded to the r/skyrim subreddit, user ClassicNegan shows their character taking a cabbage from a cart in the sleepy village of Riverwood and attempting to get it into a cauldron using only their head and the game’s physics. Unlike FIFA 22, Skyrim is not designed for accurate cabbage trick shots, much less ones that are frequently interrupted by irritating NPCs. In the middle of lining up a shot, Hilda, Riverwood’s paranoid pensioner pariah, walks through town knocking over the cauldron in the process. We then briefly see ClassicNegan unsheathe a greatsword and raise it before they cut back to attempting another trick shot.
Following another failed attempt, Embry, the town drunk, knocks the cauldron over yet again and quickly faces ClassicNegan’s wrath. Now, with a mounting pile of corpses at their feet, they realign the cauldron for another try. After a few more attempts, Sigrid begins approaching, and before she can even get close to the cauldron, ClassicNegan withdraws
