Microsoft is constantly adding new games to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service, but it also removes titles from the lineup regularly as well. While this is unfortunate, the bright side is that Microsoft gives Xbox Game Pass subscribers around two weeks notice before a game is given the boot, which gives them plenty of time to at least try it out and see if they want to buy it while it's at a discount.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers enjoy a 20% discount on games while they're available for Game Pass, so that way they don't have to pay full price if they choose to buy it to keep. Sometimes Xbox Game Pass subscribers get deals on other content as well, like DLC, and in fact, the expiration date for some of those DLC deals have led some to believe that one big game could be leaving the lineup soon.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Adds New Game
As pointed out by Reddit user SavBeeing, the Xbox Game Pass 10% discount for Yakuza: Like a Dragon DLC is set to expire soon. This could be an indication that the critically-acclaimed Yakuza: Like a Dragon is set to be leaving the Xbox Game Pass lineup in the near future, either when this discount disappears or shortly thereafter. This would be significant as Yakuza: Like a Dragon was one of the first native Xbox Series X releases, and the next-gen version was even a timed-Xbox console exclusive. However, it must be stressed that this has not been confirmed at the time of this writing and so fans shouldn't fret just yet.
