Gwen Stacy's Deadliest Wolverine Variant Revealed by Marvel Comics

Spider-Gwen's Multiverse adventures continue as the hero is set to meet a Wolverine variant of herself, the deadliest version of Gwen Stacy yet. In a new preview for Spider-Gwen: Gwenverse #2 by Marvel Comics, a Captain America variant of Gwen Stacy battles with Gwenverine, as the two Multiversal heroes battle it out in an epic Gwen-off that could turn deadly.
In the current Spider-Gwen: Gwenverse miniseries from Marvel Comics, Spider-Gwen's world has been altered, and it's up to her to track down five versions of herself from across time to fix her own reality. The first variant she encountered was Thorgwen, a version of Gwen Stacy that became the God of Thunder. Future issues will see Spider-Gwen meet up with other Gwen Stacy variants, including Iron Gwen. The Gwen's are teaming up with Spider-Zero to restore the timeline. The miniseries' second issue will see the crew traveling back in time to find Gwen Rogers, where they'll encounter a deadly version of Wolverine, Gwenverine.

In a brand new preview for Spider-Gwen: Gwenverse #2 by Tim Seeley, Jodi Nishijima, Federico Blee, and VC's Ariana Maher, readers are taken back in time to a Halloween party in New York City. However, when the Captain America variant of Gwen Stacy tells the party's host she's going to take him down, Gwenverine appears with her claws ready to battle. This variant of Stacy is named Gwen Howlett, and she shares a similar origin to Marvel's original Wolverine, including her claws, animal instincts, and powerful skeleton.
