Towards the end of last year, Rovio announced that it was bringing back the original Angry Birds game. And now, Rovio has brought back the original Angry Birds game in the shape of Rovio Classics: Angry Birds. Synergy.
The game is based on the 2012 build of Angry Birds, widely considered to be the pinnacle of bird-flinging fun. It’s been rebuilt from the ground up and now you can see if throwing avians at pigs is as much fun as you remembered.
There are more than 390 levels to work your way through, which seems like quite a lot of levels in our opinion. Shall we watch a trailer? Yes, we shall watch a trailer.
Perhaps the best news of all is that the game is a premium release. There are no ads or IAPs – it’s this strange system where you pay money for something and then you’ve got it. Wonder if it’ll catch on.
You can click here to download Rovio Classics: Angry Birds from the Play Store. It’ll set you back 99c. That’s not a bad price for getting to pretend like it’s 2012 and the world isn’t on fire.
