Kathy Hilton came to season 11 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and charmed audiences everywhere, but season 12 looks like a very different story. After the RHOBH season 12 trailer was released, it looked like Kathy would be the villain. Kathy was hesitant to return without a pay raise before officially signing on. With an ability to win over Bravo nation, almost all the RHOBH fans, and super-fan Rihanna, it seemed like her honorary housewives royalty badge was in the bag. Season 11 was a phenomenal run for Kathy and her dry humor.
From making hunky-dory a marquee name to opening up about the loss of her mother, it seemed like Kathy was always stealing the show. Many watching took note of Kathy's charisma while also considering the less than positive portrayal of Kathy in Paris Hilton's This Is Paris documentary. During Paris' teen partying days in New York City, Kathy and her husband Rick Hilton hired a youth camp staff to traumatically kidnap Paris in the middle of the night and take her to facilities where she was repeatedly abused. Kathy's parenting, as well as controlling nature, was under scrutiny. That is until Kathy joined the RHOBH and wowed everyone with wit as delightful as her daughter's. The Keep It podcaster Ira Madison smelled the reputation recovery agenda but admitted it worked. Rumor has it that Kyle Richards started to feel a little overshadowed by her older sister's RHOBH success.
