Devolver Digital has announced Return to Monkey Island, a new entry in the series that will bring back series creators Ron Gilbert and Dave Grossman. It will be a direct continuation of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge. The Monkey Island series would receive three more entries, but these were produced by different teams, and these received a more mixed response from critics and fans.
