Razer has come up with a new SKU of its classic Wireless Controller for the Xbox One and Series consoles, featuring a refreshed look for the tried-and-true design. The maker of various gaming hardware has had a fair few Xbox and Xbox-adjacent controller designs over the years, but it seems that the company has decided to fall back on something closer to the baseline for the limited edition of its latest release.
While Razer does sometimes end up using more subdued designs and colorways for its gaming hardware, it is most commonly known for its stark black-and-green aesthetic with an RGB detailing featured along the way. This same aesthetic can be applied in a wide variety of ways, but it's not often that it gets used alongside translucent, see-through plastics in this day and age, which is where the company's new Xbox Wireless Controller comes in.

While Microsoft is dealing with a controller shortage, Razer is announcing that its latest limited-edition Wireless Xbox Controller with a Quick Charging Station is now available for preorder exclusively in the US and Canada. Priced at $199, this controller/charger combo features Razer's iconic visual flair with the added bonus of having key sections of its chassis almost entirely translucent, which is bound to be popular with fans of see-through tech. The controller doesn't come with the Xbox Wireless Adapter, however, and instead relies on Bluetooth to connect to consoles, mobile devices, and PCs.
