Raft is a survival game where players will drift on a sea, forcing them to rely on salvages to stay alive. In their journey, people will come across some islands, where they can find precious commodities like food and wood.
However, there’s more to do in Raft than wander around aimlessly. Players can discover what catastrophe has led the world into this condition, where nothing but the wide blue sea dominates the horizon. To start the story mode in Raft, rafters must first reach the Radio Tower.
Raft: How to Get Seaweed
To get to the Radio Tower, players need to own a Receiver. This item will pick up radio signals and transmit their locations on the screen (marked in blue) along with some nearby islands (marked in green).
Once a Receiver is built, rafters will get a new entry on their journal. Press the T button to open it, then enter the generated numbers into the machine (It shows as#XXXX in the journal, with XXXX being the required numbers). A blue dot should appear, telling players where they need to go.
After people come near the blue dot, the Radio Tower should be seen from afar. It looks like a stranded facility, so it would be hard to miss.
To get and use the Receiver in Raft, players have to:
Other than some salvages, the most important items players need to collect at the Radio Tower are:
Head Lamp is an equipable item that can help players journey into the dark depths of the sea, a Recycler is a machine required to make Trash Cubes, and Tala is a new playable character in Raft.
After exploring the Radio Tower, rafters will get a new set of numbers that will lead them to the next location, the Vasagatan.
Raft is available on PC.
