Marvel's Punisher is about to be taken in a bold new direction, but for readers worried that the character would become a less violent antihero, have no fear. In a bloody new preview for Punisher #1 by Marvel Comics, a group of villains underestimates Frank Castle, who quickly proves he's not ready to retire his deadly ways.
Marvel Comics revealed Punisher was getting some changes in his new series, as the hero's logo has become adopted as an unfortunate real-life symbol of hatred. The new Punisher series will see the character get a new Oni symbol replacing his iconic skull in response to hate groups reappropriating his logo. Meanwhile, Frank Castle is going to work alongside The Hand, as his new look comes with a new job. But don't expect him to change his deadly style dramatically.

In a brand new preview for Punisher #1 by Jason Aaron, Jesus Saiz, Paul Azaceta, and Dave Stewart from AIPTComics, a group of villains smuggling weapons in a warehouse hear shots fired as they're told The Punisher has the drop on them. Foolishly, the helmet-wearing zealots don't give Frank Castle enough credit, as they call him «just a man,» who stands little chance against the most «powerful weapons this world has ever known.» That turns out to be a huge mistake.
