PlayStation has created an interactive activity for PS Plus subscribers to challenge themselves to in order to earn a reward in exchange for identifying a number of Easter Eggs. The activity itself tasks the player with a video that is filled with a series of nods to some of the best games on PS Plus right now.
Interestingly enough, this Easter Egg hunt hasn't been given the most expansive announcement from PlayStation, making the first part to track down the video itself. The interactive video has been hidden surprisingly deep into the PS Plus section of the official PlayStation website, below advertisements for the most recent games to be added to the various tiers of the subscription service.
Some PS Plus Players Are Getting a Bonus Free Game This Month
The Easter Egg hunt itself simply involves watching one of PlayStation's live-action trailers and finding the various references being made to the most popular Sony-produced games on the PS Plus service. In total, there are 18 Easter Eggs to discover across the two-minute commercial, as it follows a man speaking highly of Sony's online service while preparing to serve meat to a strange creature down in his basement. Finding at least one of these hidden references will then reward players with a code for a small collection of avatars based on screenshots from the advertisement itself.
While it doesn't claim so on the actual PlayStation website, some sources report that this Easter Egg hunt will only last until October 12th. So, for anyone looking to get their hands on the rewards from completing the activity, the deadline appears to be coming quickly.
