The priciest subscription tier for PlayStation Plus is PS Plus Premium, which gives subscribers access to not only PS4 and PS5 titles, but retro games from the PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP libraries as well. Unfortunately, the selection of PSP games on PlayStation Plus Premium is rather lacking at the moment, though a recent leak may potentially reveal a new PSP title that could be added to the service at some point in the near future.
As discovered by Gematsu, the Japanese PlayStation Store has posted a listing for Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness. The listing states that the game is coming to PS Plus Premium, with a release date for June 30. Obviously, it's now the end of July, and so the release date is inaccurate. However, this could still mean that Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness is coming to PS Plus Premium at some point, just that the date listed in the PlayStation Store is wrong.
PS Plus Premium Confirms New Day One Game Trial for August 2022
The PS Plus Premium July 2022 update included the addition of three PSP games for subscribers to check out, joining the previous PSP titles that were featured when the pricier subscription tier first debuted. As part of the July 2022 update, PS Plus Premium subscribers were treated to Echoshift, LocoRoco: Midnight Carnival, and No Heroes Allowed, all PSP titles. More PSP games will presumably come in future PS Plus Premium updates, though nothing official has been announced at the time of this writing.
