Huggy Wuggy from indie horror hit Poppy Playtime has commandeered MMA fighter Connor Mcgregor’s yacht. Like the menacing Huggy Wuggy, Poppy Playtime’s popularity seemed to creep up on unsuspecting gamers, garnering quite the following amongst streamers since its 2021 Chapter 1 release. One popular YouTuber, Jacksepticeye, actually cameoed in Poppy Playtime Chapter 2.
Fans of Poppy Playtime Chapter 1 will remember Huggy Wuggy as the homicidal company mascot who ruthlessly pursued them through the abandoned Playtime toy factory. While only appearing in Chapter 1, the reception Huggy Wuggy has received from gamers rivals the early days of fellow killer mascot Freddy Fazbear from Five Nights at Freddy’s. Like his pizza-loving counterpart, Huggy Wuggy and his fellow Playtime monsters have already found their faces all over assorted merchandise in the wake of their early acclaim. While Chapter 2 has received a somewhat mixed reception due to a number of performance issues and assorted bugs, fans remain confident that the anticipated Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 can improve upon its issues.

Former UFC champion Conor McGregor revealed that Huggy Wuggy and his feminine counterpart Kissy Missy climbed aboard his Lamborghini yacht in a recent Instagram slideshow. One particular photo of Mcgregor’s recent family getaway featured an impressive collection of Huggy Wuggy and Kissy Missy plushes enjoying a hearty breakfast alongside one of his children. That Huggy Wuggy and friends now travel alongside MMA superstars is further testament to Poppy Playtime's rising star in the mainstream.
