The new Paldean regional variant of Wooper, set to be introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, has been transformed into an adorable manga-inspired animated video. The newest games to the monster collection franchise will take players to the Paldea region, which seems to be based on the Iberian Peninsula countries Spain and Portugal. A recent Pokémon Scarlet and Violet gameplay trailer revealed exciting new information about the upcoming titles, including new regional variants like the lovable Paldean Wooper.
Like previous Pokémon generations, the franchise's ninth generation will kick off with two separate games releasing at once. Scarlet and Violet will share a setting and basic gameplay mechanics, including three brand-new Starter Pokémon, too: the Grass-type cat Sprigatito, the Fire-type crocodile Fuecoco and the Water-type duck Quaxly. However, certain version-exclusive Pokémon will also set the two titles apart. The Legendary Pokémon Koraidon will be the cover mascot for Pokémon Scarlet, while Miraidon will represent Pokémon Violet. Koraidon and Miraidon will even serve as mounts, with different forms used to traverse specific terrain, and Paldean regional forms in Pokémon Scarlet and Violetwill add even more variety to the experience.
