Fans were told that at the end of this year's Pokemon World Championships event, they would be getting some news on the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games. Now that the Pokemon World Championships closing ceremony has taken place, plenty more details on the latest mainline games for the franchise have been shown off, including a new legendary for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in Cyclizar, a Normal/Dragon type. Alongside the showcase of Cyclizar and other features, more details are being unveiled for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in the aftermath of the Pokemon World Championship's closing.
Recently, via Twitter, Nintendo gave fans a first look at the new Battle Stadium coming to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The Battle Stadium was a feature introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield, allowing them to easily access the game's core multiplayer battling options. The updated Battle Stadium will also act as a place for Pokemon players to showcase their battling skills, but a few new features are being added.

Some screenshots of fresh menus were shown off for the new Battle Stadium on Nintendo's Twitter, where players will be able to select how they want to compete. So far, it appears that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will allow players to battle online in four ways. There are Ranked and Casual Battles, as well as Online Competitions and a new feature known as Rental Teams. The latter were available in Sword and Shield too, but they were only useable in the Battle Tower.
