In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players will want to evolve their Swinub into Piloswine and their Piloswine to Mamoswine to complete this Ice-Ground type evolutionary line for their Pokédex and add one of the most powerful Ice-type Pokémon to their team. Swinub, the small and furry brown pig-like Pokémon, and Piloswine, the larger mammal with peeking tusks, can be found in the wild. Swinub will evolve into Piloswine with normal leveling, but acquiring Mamoswine requires teaching Piloswine a special move.
Players will need to travel to the frigid region of the Alabaster Icelands to find this Ice-Ground type Pokémon, specifically at Avalanche Slopes, Bonechill Wastes, and Avalugg's Legacy. To easily cover more ground, players may want to use a mount Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Both Swinub and Piloswine can be found at these locations, with Swinub appearing more frequently. Both Swinub and Piloswine are available at all times of the day and during all weather conditions. To make catching Swinub or Piloswine easier, players can use one of their favorite foods, Springy Mushroom, Hearty Grains, or Plump Beans. After players successfully catch it, Swinub will evolve into Piloswine once it reaches level 33.
