As the newest installment in the Pokemon series, the game introduces players to several new features not seen in previous entries. Among the new mechanics is the ability to ride Pokemon. This feature is a big deal as it makes traversal around the Hisui region easier and more enjoyable. While there are several ridable Pokemon, one of the more intriguing is the fish-like Basculegion.
As one of the new Pokemon introduced in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Basculegion is an exciting addition to the lineup. It is a Water/Ghost-type Pokemon with a distinctive aquatic look. Some highlights of its design include a mostly green coloration and fins like a fish. In addition to its appearance, players can summon the Pokemon in order to travel through the water to reach areas previously off-limits. However, one player recently discovered things do not always go as planned while riding one of these creatures.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as sausageandtea shared a video from their time playing Pokemon Legends: Arceus. This clip was particularly interesting as it showcased a peculiar glitch involving the Basculegion. While attempting to ride the Pokemon in the water, the player double jumped. However, the creature did much more than jump. Following the input from the player, the Basculegion leaped out of the river and proceeded to fly into the sky. After a few moments, it disappeared and teleported the Reddit user back down to the ground.
