Shiny Pokemon are some of the rarest Pokemon in the Pokemon franchise and many fans enjoy designing their own versions of shiny Pokemon. Now a fan of Pokemon GO has taken it upon themselves to design a new shiny for the Water and Ice-type Pokemon Cloyster.
Shiny Pokemon were first introduced in the second generation titles Pokemon Gold and Silver. They are a rare phenomenon in which wild Pokemon that the player encountered have a 1 in 8192 chance of appearing as a different color palette than their normal form, though the odds of encountering a shiny Pokemon have increased in later games. Though shiny Pokemon are no longer as rare as they once were, fans continue to enjoy their presence in modern Pokemon titles.
