Rumors of a Bloodborne remaster also coming to PC have been circulating online for a good while, but nothing has been confirmed so far. However, PC-only players may still get the chance to play the action RPG developed by FromSoftware on their gaming machines in the future, thanks to the PlayStation 4 emulator RPCSX, which reached an important milestone this week.
As shown in a video shared a few days ago by BrutalSam, the emulator is now capable of booting up the game. While this may not seem impressive in any capacity to the general user, as the emulator is not capable of displaying graphics yet, the fact that it is capable of booting up a triple AAA game without crashing is quite impressive, also considering how the emulator has not been in development for long. The first step to make Bloodborne playable on PC has now been taken, and it will be very interesting to see any future development.
RPCSX isn't the only PlayStation 4 emulator that is in active development. The fpPS4 emulator is also making great progress and is now capable of botting over 25 commercial games, including a few 3D games. While performance is obviously bad at the moment, the fact that the games somewhat run is still very impressive.
