Petition Against Kojima & Xbox Game Grows After Partnership Confirmed

There was even a rumor that Kojima Productions would be bought by Sony, but Kojima has gone on the record stating that his company will remain independent.
This independence was recently reinforced by Hideo Kojima’s surprise appearance during the June 12 Xbox and Bethesda Showcase livestream, where the famed developer announced that he is partnering with Xbox to produce a brand-new game. This new project is still in the early stages of development and details are sparse, but Kojima has promised that it will utilize Microsoft’s cutting-edge cloud technology to deliver a groundbreaking gameplay experience that the thought-provoking auteur has always wanted to create. Xbox Gaming CEO Phil Spencer also expressed excitement about Xbox's new partnership with Kojima Productions, and reiterated that the legend of the gaming industry will bring fresh and revolutionary concepts as he often does.
