The Paris in Love storylinemay have had a slow start, but after Kathy Hilton apologized for the trauma Paris faced as a teenager in youth camps, Paris started to open up like never before. Most of Paris in Love showed Paris’s cold feet before her wedding, as well as her deep-seated need for independence. The hesitance stemmed in no way from her love for Carter Reum, whose charm grows with each episode, but rather from a fear of being locked down in any way. Kathy may have earned a whole new fan base with her strange wit on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but it’s very different to see her with her daughters. Kathy is still goofy and hilarious, but in the early episodes, Paris maintained her superficial persona, as well as her boundaries with cameras.
