Paradox Interactive has begun looking for beta testers, but won’t say what they’re signing up to work on, at least until they sign the non-disclosure agreement. “Want to be involved in a beta test with us? We have limited spaces. We can't say more until the NDAs have been signed," the company pointed out on Twitter.
"We will be running a beta test in the very near future and need people to help us," the company states in the NDA. "We cannot give the name of the game at the moment until an agreement and NDA has been signed.” The document goes on to explain how “the purpose of this particular beta test however is to stress test the online capabilities of the game and to gather player feedback on this test. The beta test is limited and will run for only one week starting on September 5, 2022."

The news was first spotted by PC Gamer which noted how the upcoming beta test is being held by a brand new publishing company called Paradox Arc. The label is mostly focused on indie games, meaning that participants mostly likely won’t be getting a preview of the highly anticipated Victoria 3. Paradox Arc is focused on "deep, endless, and replayable games from smaller development teams." The first game released by the company was Across the Obelisk, described as a "co-op roleplaying deckbuilding roguelite.”
The process for participating is pretty simple. According to Paradox, players only have to “fill in your email, name, and Discord username and submit this to us before 10:00AM CEST on September 1. We will send you an email with a second form that will need to be filled in to automatically generate an agreement with Paradox. That agreement will be sent
