Calling Overwatch 2 a grind-fest is probably putting it lightly. Whether it be taking dozens of hours to unlock a single character or general complaints about the game's Battle Pass, it's not unfair to say that Overwatch 2 has become much more grindy ever since the series switched to the free-to-play model. This definitely isn't helped by the game's weekly and daily challenges, which were recently criticized by fans for being incredibly inconsistent, with some very easy and others almost impossible.
One of the more egregious examples of this was the weekly challenge called Cleaning House, which tasked players with getting 20 team kills in just seven days. Asking a player to wipe out an entire enemy team by themselves 20 times in just a week is about as difficult as it sounds, leading many to criticize Blizzard as weekly challenges are pretty much the only way to earn coins to unlock rewards and cosmetics.

Thankfully, it seems that this challenge was too much of a grind for even Blizzard, as it looks to have quiety reduced the amount of team kills required from 20 to 10. Considering the total has been slashied in half, it's obvious that Blizzard realised asking players to achieve the impossible for a handful of coins probably wasn't in its best interests.
