The Star Wars sequel trilogy was a point of divisiveness for some fans, which left some people with a bad taste in their mouths. Discourse aside, Jon Boyega and Daisy Ridley both bluntly stated they have no interest in returning--the former even famously quoted «you ain't gonna Disney Plus me.»
Oscar Isaac, however, feels somewhat ready to fly once again as Poe. During a SiriusXM interview, the Moon Knight actor stated that he's open for more Star Wars just as long as there was a great story and a great director attached.
«I don't know. I'm open to anything. You never know,» Isaac said when asked about returning to the blockbuster franchise. «I'm open to any good story. Time is the one thing that becomes challenging...as you get older and [have] kids and all that. Where do [movies] fit in? If there was a great story and a great director and [Lucasfilm president] Kathy [Kennedy] came to me and was like, 'I have this great idea,' then I'm so open to it.»
The sequel trilogy that began with The Force Awakens grossed over $4.4 billion at the box office worldwide but had mixed reactions, especially the last entry, Rise of Skywalker. Isaac had previously joked that he would only return to Poe and Star Wars if he was desperate for money or his house burned down.
Poe was featured in his own Marvel Comics series, but there are no plans for any sort of spin-off for him at this time, or at least none that are announced, but with Cassian Andor getting his own series, anything is possible.
