The war against the Monster Association in One-Punch Man has had some wildly shifting combatants as of late, with characters like Garou surprisingly joining the fight alongside the heroes, while massive new monsters like Centisennin and the freshly empowered Evil Ocean Water put up a majorly impressive final stand. Yet, in the midst of some of the most intense combat to date, it seems that some of the series' lower-ranked heroes are finally getting a chance to contribute.
The main focus of chapter 156 of One-Punch Man is the battle between Centisennin and the new battle bro pairing of Garou and Metal Bat. While these two are dealing most of the damage to the monster, they aren't the only ones involved in the fight. Centisennin's main target has actually been the evacuating helicopter, which is carrying the young Tareo and Waganma away from the Monster Association base where they had been imprisoned. Entrusted with the protection of the two boys is a support team of Class A heroes, including the sniper One Shotter, Gearsper, and the surprisingly popular Captain Mizuki.

As it turns out, while the helicopter made for a tempting target for the monsters, the heroes on board were well-positioned to lend Garou and Metal Bat a hand. While One Shotter's cybernetic eye was damaged, he was still able to fire off a shot at a critical moment with the help of Gearsper, who used his psychic powers to act as the sniper's eye. The bullets struck Centisennin's vulnerable eyes, giving Garou a chance to get out of a tough spot and setting him up to locate the monster's secret weakness: a regeneration
