Peloton is experimenting with a subscription offering called One Peloton Club that combines its Peloton All Access Membership with a Peloton Bike rental. But don't count on this deal to last—the company says it's only going to be available in a few markets for a limited time.
One Peloton Club is currently available from specific Peloton stores in Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, and Texas. Peloton says that prospective customers have to live within 30 miles of one of those showrooms to sign up for the service; otherwise they're going to be out of luck.
The company says that anyone who's signed up for the Peloton All Access Membership within the last 12 months, or is currently participating in a 30- or 100-day free trial of a Peloton Bike or Peloton Bike+, is also ineligible for a One Peloton Club subscription during this pilot program.
Peloton doesn't offer pricing information for One Peloton Club, but The Wall Street Journal reports that subscriptions run between $60 and $100 per month, and the company says that a non-refundable $250 delivery fee will be charged at time of order "in certain markets."
For comparison: A Peloton All Access Membership costs $39 per month; a Peloton Bike starts at $1,495 and can run as high as $2,035. (The Peloton Bike+ starts at $2,495.)
One Peloton Club subscribers are free to cancel their memberships at any time, Peloton says, provided they return the Peloton Bike within 30 days of cancellation. The company also says that subscribers can purchase the bike outright if they want to reduce their monthly fees.
