Nintendo reveals another full game trial that will be coming to the Nintendo Switch Online service for a limited time, Katamari Damacy Reroll. This service is relatively new in comparison to what PlayStation and Xbox are offering, but there are still some notable features from Nintendo Switch Online. The free libraries of retro Nintendo games are one of the most notable things, spanning from the NES to the Nintendo 64 depending on subscription level. The service also offers a free full game trial, usually for third-party games. Past limited-time full game trials included The World Ends With You: Final Remix, Overcooked 2, and now Katamari Damacy Reroll.
Katamari Damacy Reroll is a remaster of the PS2 eccentric third-person puzzle game, with this remaster first being released on the Nintendo Switch and PC in 2018. It featured improved visuals, as well as a restructured control scheme that utilized the Joy-Con's motion controls and HD rumble. Katamari Damacy Reroll then received a port to the PS4 and Xbox One two years later. With the game's sequel coming to the Switch later this Summer, those who are subscribed to the NSO service can experience a limited-time game trial of the first game to prepare.
