Summer is almost behind us, fall temps are in the air, and we're about to flip the calendar over to September. That means there are ample more reasons to stay inside and catch up with new content hitting Disney+. Some of the content is available starting on September 1, while other shows and movies will be available a little later next month.
First up, on September 21, Andor will make its debut with a special three-episode premiere. In Diego Luna's return to the Star Wars franchise, we will learn more about Cassian's upbringing during wartime and him eventually becoming part of the Rebel Alliance. Fans who can't wait that long to revisit the show's world have the opportunity to see Star Wars: Rogue One in theaters--starting August 26, screenings of the film willalso include an «exclusive sneak peek» at Andor as part of the limited theatrical re-release.
On September 30, you can get a jump on getting into the Halloween spirit early--before October, even!--with Hocus Pocus 2. The sequel to the iconic 1993 film starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy features the trio reprising their roles as the witchy Sanderson sisters. A synopsis in part reads: «It's been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.»
