Slowly but certainly, Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 7 is alleviating its launch-day problems and filling out its otherwise already substantial roster of drivable vehicles. Featuring three all-new cars each, these content updates have been getting pushed out towards the end of each month, and it seems like the studio isn't about to skip a bit in July, either.
Namely, the lead designer of the franchise at large and Gran Turismo 7 specifically, Kazunori Yamauchi, just Tweeted out a small peek at what's to come next week. Players can expect another by-the-numbers content update, it would seem, but the curious bit is that Yamauchi only shared a mysterious tease of the three featured vehicles, leading the community to theorize on what they might be.
Gran Turismo 7 Update Makes Rare Cars Even More Expensive
Since the biggest fans of GT are bound to have played most previous Gran Turismo games as well, and have a good sense of what Polyphony Digital might be gunning for, it seems like the community has already figured out what the three cars are. The topmost model looks to be the legendary Maserati A6GCS/53 Spyder: a classic 1953 sports car, and on the right, the distinctive wing design reveals the Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette from 1982. Interestingly, the car featured on the left isn't such an easy guess, but the silhouette is reminiscent of Porsche's 918 Spyder.
Whatever the case may be, Yamauchi confirmed that the update would be dropping sometime next week, which should give Gran Turismo 7 car collectors another couple of interesting and potentially coveted vehicles to chase after.
