An insider claims that Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 5 is well into development and could be revealed very soon. Fighting games often have a hard time moving away from the 2D styles seen in games like Street Fighter orDragon Ball FighterZ, but the Naruto Ninja Storm series managed to create incredibly tight gameplay and fast-paced battles in a large 3D arena. The series faithfully retold the epic storyline of one of manga's most popular series, Naruto. It also managed to create surprisingly deep gameplay mechanics for its multiplayer modes.
Although Naruto Ninja Storm 4 covered the end of the series and the Boruto film, fans have been requesting a new game for a while. CyberConnect2 created the Storm series and has since moved on to developing the stylish Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles game, but unfortunately, the multiplayer for that game failed to satisfy most Storm fans. The Boruto series has released a few arcs and had some time to buildup a formidable roster of new characters that would be perfect for a new Ninja Storm game. Rumors now suggest that is precisely what is happening.

According to one credible insider, fans waiting for Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 5 may finally see the game announced soon. Reported by The Gamer, Youtuber and anime gaming insider Senju in Japan released a video hinting that an official reveal for the highly anticipated 3D arena fighter could be coming very soon. While the video below doesn't give many details, Senju in Japan's sources claim the game has been in development for more than a year now.
