Minecraft has unveiled the final new addition planned for the upcoming 1.20 update, and it's a stunning cherry blossom biome full of pink trees that add some nice variety to the game's horizons. Minecraftbuildings will also benefit from the new biome thanks to a full set of pink wooden objects that can be built with cherry blossoms.
Each of Minecraft's major updates have brought new features and locations that sometimes drastically alter the landscape, add new items to craft, or even change up the gameplay entirely. Players who have followed the game for years have seen the game grow from a rather simple voxel crafting game to a full-blown survival game with an incredible amount of possibilities for exploration and creativity. Since this time last year, Minecraft added the Deep Dark and mangrove swamp biomes, introduced ancient cities, and overhauled the creative inventory while implementing dozens of minor fixes and changes through smaller patches.

As part of Minecraft's 1.20 update arriving sometime later this year, a biome has been announced as the final item on the update's feature list. Fitting for a Valentine's Day announcement, the luscious pink cherry blossom biome represents a beautiful addition to the game's color palette. Wood from the cherry blossoms can be harvested to craft a full set of wooden items, so players craft pink houses, signs, doors, and windows. Cherry blossom saplings can also be replanted like any other tree, so players can make their own adorable pink biome wherever they choose. The biome will mostly be populated with pigs, sheep, and bees.
Plenty of other features have already been announced, such as the new Sniffer mob in Minecraft 1.20
