Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered officially came out on PC on August 12, 2022. It includes a remastered version of Marvel's Spider-Man along with The City That Never Sleeps DLC which was released in three parts post launch. Curiously, this remastered version is only available as a part of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition on PS5.
Similar to the original game from 2018, the PC version of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered launched with positive reviews. The PC port also doesn’t appear to suffer from any major issues. Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered has a rating of Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam, with many users discussing the high-quality port. New data now suggests that Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is Sony’s second biggest launch on PC in terms of the total number of concurrent players.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Modder Adds The Symbiote Suit To The Game
According to SteamDB, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered had a peak concurrent player count of 66,436. This number falls short of the PC version of God of War, which peaked at 73,529 users at launch, but Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered performed better than Sony’s other releases on Steam. Horizon Zero Dawn achieved a simultaneous player count of 56,557, with Days Gone sitting at a much lower number of 27,450 peak concurrent users. This means that Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is Sony’s second-biggest launch on Steam.
At the time of this writing, 32,255 users are playing Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered on Steam, and it’ll be interesting to see if the peak player count changes in the coming days. Usually, single-player games achieve their highest concurrent player count at or close to launch. So, it’s unlikely that Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered will go beyond 66,436
