Marvel's Multiverse Saga announcement is missing one mystery MCU Phase 5 movie based on previous Marvel Cinematic Universe updates. A massive slate of projects became a bit of a trademark for the MCU starting in 2014 when Marvel Studios unveiled the full Phase 3 slate. While 2019 brought the complete Phase 4 reveal to San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel and Disney continued to claim release dates for years in the future that mystery MCU movies would take. Marvel's Phase 5 and Phase 6 unveiling confirmed that Captain America: New World Order was coming out on the May 2024 date. Thunderbolts now occupies the July 2024 release and will end Phase 5 as a result. It was also revealed that Fantastic Four begins Phase 6 with the November 2024 release date. These three movies are currently the only ones confirmed to come out in 2024.
