Max must make the decision to warn Victoria about the Dark Room or not in Episode 4 of Life is Strange. The pair haven't gotten along since the start of the game, due to Victoria's bullying of Max and Kate, and her close friendship with the dangerous Nathan Prescott.
It's this very friendship with Nathan that might cause her a lot of harm, however, and players are given the option to warn her about Nathan's Dark Room after getting into the VIP section in Life is Strange. The consequence of the decision is actually more surprising than it seems.
Life is Strange: How to Save Kate
Players can choose to warn Victoria about Nathan and the Dark Room in Life is Strange, but depending on past decisions, she might not believe Max. If she does believe her, Victoria will promise to stay away from Nathan, saying she has other people she can go to for protection.
To get her to believe Max's warning, players must have comforted Victoria in Episode 1 of Life is Strange after a bucket of paint was spilled on her outside the girls' dormitories. Successfully warning Victoria is actually a bad thing, however, as the person she goes to for help is not to be trusted. The full consequences of this decision are below, but contain major spoilers for key events in both Episodes 4 and 5.
Warning Victoria About The Dark Room Spoilers
If Victoria believes Max's warning, she will go to Mr. Jefferson for help. The Blackwell Academy photography teacher is actually the main antagonist of the game, and will kidnap Victoria and take her to his Dark Room, along with Max. Victoria will always die in this scenario.
If players don't warn Victoria, or she doesn't believe the warning, then Victoria will not try to stay away from Nathan, and won't go to somebody else
