TT Games' latest family-friendly collect-a-thon game retells the story of the nine mainline Star Wars films in a fun LEGO style, adding in plenty of humor alongside faithfully recreated dialogue that players have the option to deactivate in The Skywalker Saga’s Mumble Mode.
Aside from the movies themselves, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga contains shout-outs to several popular Star Wars memes, such as Anakin Skywalker's well-documented aversion to sand and the popular fan paring of Fin and Poe Dameron of the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy. However, most of the game's content and storyline remain tied to recreating key moments from the Star Wars films themselves, and while some of the series' slower and less action-packed moments are understandably altered or left out of The Skywalker Saga’s retelling of the three Star Wars trilogies, the spirit of these classic stories seems to be retained in plastic toy form.

YouTuber ElAnalistaDeBits recently demonstrated LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s devotion to retelling the plot of the films with a video comparing some of the game’s levels and cutscenes to their live-action counterparts from the Original Trilogy (via GameRant). While many of the exact details of these scenes have been changed in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to be more humorous or kid-friendly, ElAnalistaDeBits's video highlights how the overall spirit of each moment is retained in the newest LEGO game.
