It looks like a new leak from Chiphell Forums shows parts of the cooler for Nvidia’s upcoming RTX 4090 Ti. Of course, the images have since been removed from the forum and the post has been deleted, but that hasn’t stopped the photos from making the rounds. This leak may be our first peek at Nvidia’s new Founders Edition design for its RTX 4000 Series graphics cards.
It’s important to bear in mind that these photos aren’t proven to be legitimate, but are interesting nonetheless. The timing of these images showing up makes sense if Nvidia plans to release its 4000 Series lineup in July, as previously reported. While what we’re seeing lines up, it’s always better to err on the side of caution.
There are four photos in total that show off the alleged RTX 4090 Ti’s cooler parts. Surprisingly, it looks almost identical to the one used for the RTX 3090 Ti. The first couple of photos show the metal frame that goes around the heatsink of the graphics card. Then, a second photo shows a close-up of the frame, with “RTX 409o Ti” printed on the inner side. If you had any doubts as to which graphics card this is, now you know. The frame also looks bigger than the one found on the RTX 3090 Ti, but we’ll need to get confirmation on that.

The photos in this leak of the actual heatsink show off some interesting stuff for Nvidia’s RTX 4090 Ti. The baseplate looks to be bigger, with thermal pads placed around an aluminum heat spreader. This may be designed to increase its effective cooling, something that it’ll need if the card is as power-hungry as we expect. The heatsink also looks massive, but it’s pretty hard to tell from just the photos.
If Nvidia does release an RTX 4090 Ti, it’s going to need a lot
