Disgraced actor Kevin Spacey has been ordered to pay the studio behind House of Cards, MRC, $31 million in damages caused by his firing.
The star was removed from the production of the final season of House of Cards in 2017, after actor Anthony Rapp (Star Trek: Discovery) alleged that Spacey had made sexual advances towards him when Rapp was 14. As a result, House of Cards had to be delayed to account for the lead actor's absence, resulting in a significant loss of revenue for MRC.
