The new English subtitled trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen 0 teases the large scope and epic fights seen in the manga series. The movie serves as a prequel to the Jujutsu Kaisen manga and anime, with a new protagonist and some familiar supporting characters. Sunghoo Park and Hiroshi Seko, the director and writer of the anime series, respectively, will reprise their roles for the film. New cast members include Megumi Ogata, who's famous for voicing Shinji Ikari in the classic series Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Kana Hanazawa, known for voicing Akane Tsunemori in Psycho-Pass.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will follow the story of Yuta Okkotsu, a high schooler who suffers from a curse courtesy of his late girlfriend. He meets Satoru Gojo, a sorcerer who enrolls him in a new school to learn the arts of Jujutsu to combat curses and free himself. Tickets for Jujutsu Kaisen 0 go on sale on February 25 and the movie hits theaters March 18, with showings available both with English dubs and English subtitles.

The English subtitled trailer depicts characters from the manga such as Gojo and Panda (a student at the Jujutsu high school that has the appearance of a giant panda) fighting curses on a large scale. The trailer also emphasizes the personal struggle of Okkotsu and his quest to find meaning and break his curse. It also includes a sample of the movie's theme «Ichizu» by King Gnu.
