Depp is now honing that power on one of the most popular social platforms, TikTok.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star joined TikTok on Monday, and his profile has gone viral already. Within a day of being on the platform, the 58-year-old actor has already obtained over 4 million followers and also has a blue check mark to verify his account. He shared his first post earlier on Tuesday, thanking all his fans and “unwavering supporters,” which had been viewed over 4 million times within three hours. It seems like the Depp vs. Heard trial has only increased the former's popularity among his fans.

The actor’s first TikTok post was dedicated entirely to his fans. The video features clips of Depp waving at his supporters as he arrived for the different court dates during his trial. There are also some clips of him playing the guitar on stage and preparing for a performance. He shared the video with a heartfelt caption that was targeted toward his “most treasured and loyal” supporters, as they stood by him during his tough times. “We did the right thing together, all because you cared. And now, we will all move forward together,” he wrote and went on to thank his fans.
