Jeremy Renner says his niece thought Hawkeye had killed Natasha Romanoff after seeing Black Widow. Renner has played expert archer Clint Barton in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since a cameo appearance in 2011's Thor, though much like Scarlett Johansson's aforementioned ex-assassin, he spent the first three Phases stuck in a supporting role. The upcoming Disney+ series Hawkeye will be his first time as an MCU lead, and the first two episodes release on November 24.
