Electronic Arts has just revealed a slate of upcoming new Star Wars games, including the much-rumored sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. EA has been developing Star Wars games since 2016’s Star Wars Battlefront reboot, and while the publisher’s work within the Galaxy Far, Far Away has proved to be divisive among fans, there have been a few well-received games to come from Disney’s partnership with EA, such as the aforementioned Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and 2020’s flight-simulator throwback title Star Wars Squadrons.

In a press release, EA announced that it is working on three new Star Wars games that are being headed by Respawn Entertainment founder Vince Zampella. His development team will produce these new titles, which are said to span multiple different gameplay genres. One of these newly announced projects is confirmed to be the long-awaited sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, another is a Star Wars-themed first-person shooter led by Respawn Game Director Peter Hirschmann, and the third is a strategy game being developed in collaboration with gaming veteran Greg Foerstch and his newly formed studio, Bit Reactor.
Between Star Wars Eclipse, Ubisoft’s yet-untitled open-world Star Wars game, and this newly announced trio of EA-published projects, there is certainly no shortage of exciting games on the horizon for Star Wars fans.
