An Itch.io bundle set up to raise money for abortion funds in the US has launched.
The Indie Bundle for Abortion Funds is hosted by developer Caro Asercion, and features content from 604 creators on the platform.
The money raised will be donated to the National Network for Abortion Fund's Collective Power Fund, which distributes financial support to other abortion funds across over 20 states in the US, particularly in the South and Midwest where it is more difficult to access abortions.
As of writing, the bundle has raised over $133,100, with a goal of $200,000 in total. The bundle is on sale until July 13.
Following last month's overturn of Roe v. Wade in the US, multiple games companies have spoken out in support of reproductive choice and access to abortions.
Firms including Microsoft, Electronic Arts and Sony's Santa Monica Studio also offered support to employees seeking access to abortion services, including travel expenses and health benefits.
