In this guide, we are going to go over how you can find cotton while on the island. Rather than plucking cotton directly from the wild, you can find cotton seeds to grow. First, let's take a look at where you can find these seeds.

As mentioned above, cotton seeds can be quite rare. The description for these seeds says that you can find them in the jungle, swamp, and snowy areas. This is a bit vague, so we recommend searching for cotton seeds in the Tangled Mesa, shown on the map above.
In the Tangled Mesa, you can uproot plants, cut trees, and defeat enemies for a chance to get some cotton seeds. If you come across a fully grown cotton plant, you will receive the seeds, but if it is still growing, you will have a smaller chance to receive the seeds. Overall, heading to the Tangled Mesa is your best bet.
With a cotton seed in hand, all you need to do is plant it. After a short period of time, the seed will grow into a cotton plant. Before harvesting it, you will need to pollinate the plant; this can be done with bags of pollen, as well as with a Bibi.
