If you've been waiting on the Pixel 7 to upgrade your Android phone, the launch of Google's next-gen smartphone is imminent.
The company's "Made by Google" event is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 6, where the company is expected to show off a Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro handset, as well as a Pixel Watch. Things kick off at 10 a.m. ET in New York City, and we'll be there, but those not in the Big Apple can get a front-row seat courtesy of the livestream(Opens in a new window), embedded below.
We have a full rundown of what we expect to see from Google on Thursday. It appears to be a mobile-focused event, but wild cards are always possible. For smart home enthusiasts, the company actually quietly dropped updates to its Nest Wifi router and Nest Doorbell on Tuesday, but will the Made by Google event also include a Pixel tablet or new smart speakers?
We'll have to wait until Thursday to find out. Until then, check out what we hope to see in the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. We'll also be live-blogging Thursday's event for those who can't wait the stream, so stay tuned for that.
