The Magic Dagger is a utility weapon in Tunic that allows the player to fire a short-range burst of ice that will temporarily freeze enemies in place. This item grants adventurers a valuable opportunity to land extra attacks, take a moment to heal, or cover ground away from the enemy. Each use does use a great deal of MP, so Tunic players must ensure to utilize the dagger only during appropriate situations.
The location of the Magic Dagger in Tunic is within a secluded cave in the southwestern portion of the West Garden. Adventurers must traverse across multiple narrow trails to reach the cavern, including several pathways somewhat hidden in the environment. Players will run into several enemy mobs along the way, so be prepared to fight. Therefore, it is recommended that Tunic fans purchase several consumables before embarking on their journey, such as health potions or bombs. The shopkeeper and their wares can be found hidden to the left of the brazier checkpoint of the West Garden region.

Starting from the checkpoint, head southwest to the island with a water basin guarded by a Chompignom. After defeating the enemy, traverse the fallen pillar on the left and into the water. Following the shadowed path in Tunic beneath the water's surface, cross over to the next area down below.
After looting the coin chest, continue eastward atop the wooden planks connecting the islands. Turn right at the overpass and continue south, turning left at the pile of rubble to emerge from the concealed entry point. The next area will have two Chompignoms facing away from the player when they arrive, so Tunic fans are advised to take out one at a time to preserve HP.
