Rare Stones are a useful crafting material in Kirby and the Forgotten Land and collecting them will make it possible for Kirby to upgrade his Copy Abilities. As Kirby is exploring a brand new world in the Forgotten Lands, he will need to save the Waddle Dee that is being captured. These act as the main and optional objectives within each stage since Waddle Dee can be hidden around any corner. While collecting Waddle Dee is the focus, players may come across Rare Stones while exploring the Forgotten Lands. It's an extra form of currency that has two different uses throughout the game.
The first use of Rare Stones is to use them to create better Copy Abilities. Throughout the stages, players may discover hidden blueprints that can be used to make a current Copy Ability stronger. Combining the Rare Stones with this Blueprint will increase the Copy Abilities range, damage output, and alter Kirby's design. Secondly, Rare Stones can be used to purchase Figures for the collection. Players can trade one Rare Stone by speaking with Trader Waddle Dee in the Gotcha Machine Alley.
