Gleamium is a MultiVersus in-game currency that players can use to buy characters, various emotes, Ring Outs, and more. MultiVersus is currently in Beta but is slated to drop on July 26th. While the game is free-to-play, it will make use of microtransactions to turn a profit. Microtransactions have become more prevalent in gaming over the years, encouraging players to purchase loot boxes and in-game currencies to unlock content that is otherwise impossible to get by playing the regular game.
MultiVersus is the Warner Bros. and DC Universe's answer to other franchise fighting games like Marvel Avengers or Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. It can be played solo, online co-op, or online PvP. As of its launch date, there are 16 playable characters, ranging from DC superheroes and classic cartoon characters to Game of Throne's ultimate baddie, Arya Stark. MultiVersus plans to drop more characters over time, and many will be available in-store for purchase. There are even hints at MultiVersus dropping 19 new characters immediately after launch.

Gleamium is one of the more prominent in-game currencies in MultiVersus. Currently, the only way to get Gleamium is to spend money. However, it will be used to unlock several varieties of items in the game and can be obtained by purchasing Gleamium in bundles or buying a MultiVersus Founder's Pack.
Players can get Gleamium for a limited time if they purchase one of the three Founder's Packs. There are three levels; the Standard Edition for $39.99, the Deluxe Edition for $59.99, and the Premium Edition for $99.99.
