Survival was introduced in Skyrim, first through the Creation Club and more recently in Anniversary Edition.
Survival Mode has revitalized Skyrim, giving players a new Elder Scrolls experience as they await the release of The Elder Scrolls 6. However, since it was created a few years after the launch of Skyrim, many of the mechanics in Skyrim itself make Survival Mode harder than it should be. A good example of this is that even though items like salt and locations like inns have become much more important, very few changes have been made to make these features more accessible.

Survival Mode in Skyrim adds a fatigue feature that requires players to rest frequently to ensure that their stats are not affected. This is a tricky burden to carry, especially in the early game before players have the gold to purchase a house. So, many players rely on inns for sleep as they can rent a room for a single night in most of the major cities around Skyrim. However, this room is usually only around for one night, so players will need to buy the room again. This can cost a lot of money, especially for someone trying to save up for a home.
To improve this feature, The Elder Scrolls 6 should include an option to rent out a room for a longer duration, like a week, allowing players to use the city as a temporary base
