More of Bethesda's classic Elder Scrolls titles have made their way to Steam and some are available for the extremely low price of free. This comes in the wake of an announcement from earlier this year where it was stated that Bethesda would shut down its PC launcher service and move the titles found there back onto Steam.
Bethesda.net Launcher will officially shut down on May 11, however, players who still have accounts with the service will find them still active after this, allowing continued access to their games with the ability to migrate those titles to the next platform. The existence of the developer's own launcher caused a bit of controversy during its lifespan as some fans were not particularly keen on using yet another service to play their favorite titles. Now that it is going away, it appears most if not all of Bethesda's library will eventually make its way over to Steam.

As reported by Kotaku, five classic Bethesda games have come to Steam, some of which are there for the first time ever. It was already known that Elder Scrolls: Arena and Daggerfall would arrive at some point, however, what was not known until now is that these two titles are free. Accompanying these two installments are The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard and An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire, both of which are $5.99 on Steam. Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory rounds out this collection of most recent transfers and it too is currently available for free.
